Bengaluru: Controversial BBMP chief engineer for road infrastructure B.S. Prahlad may soon see his wings clipped with the Palike special commissioner (administration) shooting off a letter to the additional chief secretary, urban development department to take suitable action against Prahlad. At present, Prahlad holds two posts – those of chief engineer for road infrastructure and K-100 Rajakaluve project.
Prahlad’s promotion as chief engineer from executive engineer itself had invited a lot of criticism and as if it was not enough, he has been made in-charge of more than one project or departments inviting criticism from BBMP engineers and social activists.
Speaking with News Trail, N.R. Ramesh, former Yediyur corporator, who lodged complaints against Prahlad, described the BBMP commissioner’s letter as a victory for his efforts to expose corruption in BBMP.
