City records 44 Covid-19 cases, active caseload pegged at 1,249

Bengaluru: Bengaluru recorded 44 Covid-19 cases on December 29, taking the city's active caseload to 1,249, according to the BBMP's official bulletin released on Thursday.

The day's test positivity rate stood at 0.73%. No deaths were reported. A total of 6,057 tests were conducted on the day.

As many as 21 people recovered and over 2,816 citizens took the precaution dose.
