Bengaluru: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Karnataka unit has disclosed its new party structure after having dissolved the state unit on January 13.

The AAP Central leadership-appointed Karnataka in-charge Dilip Pandey, while announcing the new state body and office bearers for all districts and said this was the first list of appointment of office bearers and more lists were expected in the coming days.

Dilip Pandey said: “As of last week, the AAP had dissolved all the state and district level structures in Karnataka. As part of the rural outreach programme, ‘Grama Samparaka Abhiyana (GSA)’, AAP has garnered support from Kannadigas which include thousands of volunteers, well-wishers, supporters and political activists across the state.

As a result, we have grown bigger and stronger in Karnataka’s assembly constituencies. These are the set of people who have been cheated and fooled by all the three traditional political parties, and are fed up with the 40% commission government of the BJP.”

“As part of the GSA, people from different political parties; BJP, Congress and JD (S) have joined hands with us. These are good people who want change in Karnataka for the better. This shows that Karnataka trusts AAP and with their support, AAP will march to victory. Today, we are announcing the state-level and districtlevel structures, office-bearers across all districts.

As part of our announcement, we are putting out three major positions in the list. The rest of the announcements that include block and circle committees will be announced at the district level,” he said, adding the party was in the process of preparing a candidates’ list.
