Organisation performs puja for ‘symbol of men’s rights Elon Musk’

Bengaluru: Members belonging to the Save Indian Family Foundation gathered at Freedom Park, which is a hub of protests, for a unique protest in which they conducted a puja in honour of billionaire Elon Musk. According to the “male activists”, Elon is a symbol of “men’s rights, which gives them confidence allowing them to express their thoughts on oppression”.

The puja celebrations saw a waft of hilarious chants, some of them referring to Elon as the ‘Destroyer of Wokashura’ and others that went ‘Ohm Feminist Evictoraya Namah’, ‘Ohm Twitter Cleaneraya Namah’ and even ‘Ohm Twitter DeFeminitaraya Namah’. Banners put up at the puja focused on fake cases of culture and asked for safeguarding equal rights of men in terms of sexual assault and domestic violencerelated cases. The group also claimed to be a pan-India portal for men’s rights.

As per the SIFF website, their fight is with “government-sponsored undemocratic social experiments” and one of their prime agenda is to guide and provide support to men facing false cases of dowry harassment under Section 498 A of the India Penal Code, which pertains to the punishment of a husband or his relative for subjecting a woman to cruelty
