Traffic restrictions around counting centres in B’luru

Bengaluru: In view of counting of votes in the centres here, traffic restrictions have been imposed, and parking is prohibited in and around these counting centres.

St Joseph Indian High School and Composite PU College, Vittal Mallya Road

Vehicle movement is restricted from Siddalingaiah Circle towards RRMR and Kasturba Road, Queens Circle to Siddalingaiah Circle. Instead, motorists can use the alternative routes, Lavelle Road and MG Road. Vehicle parking facilities have been made around the Kanteerava Stadium.

Mount Carmel College, Vasanth Nagar

Traffic restrictions have been placed on Kalapana Junction to Vasanth Nagar underpass and Vasanth Nagar underpass towards Mount Carmel College. Instead, vehicles from Chakravarthy Layout can go towards Udaya TV Junction via the underpass and vehicles from Udaya TV Junction can move towards BDA via the Vasanth Nagar underpass. Parking facilities have been arranged in the Palace Grounds.

SSMRV PU College, Jayanagar

Vehicular traffic on 36th Cross, 22nd Main, 26th Main and 28th Main near SSMRV PU college have been restricted. Vehicles can use East-end Main Road, 32nd E Cross, 39th Cross, the 18th Main Road, Jayanagar. People can park their vehicles at Shalini Grounds and RV College. BMTC buses moving towards 4th BMTC bus depot can move on the 18th Main via the 32nd E Cross junction, and via Jayanagar General Hospital and take a right turn at 26th Main Road and reach the depot.

BMS Women’s College, Basavanagudi

Traffic movement has been restricted on Hayavadana Cross to Kamat Hotel Junction and Bull Temple Road. Instead, vehicles moving from Ashrama Junction towards Halli Thindi can move on Hayavadanarao Road and proceed towards Hanumanthanagar. Basavanagudi National College, Udaya Playground and Kohinoor Playground can be used to park vehicles in.

Akash International School, Devanahalli

Vehicle movement on Devanahalli Bypass towards Devanahalli New Bus Stand and from New Bus Stand up to the bypass and Devanahalli, besides Giriyamma Circle to Bychapura, has been restricted. Instead, motorists can travel from Sulibele towards Chikkaballapur via NH-648.

Motorists from Rani Cross to Sulibele NH-648, from Doddaballapur to Hoskote can move via Vijayapura Junction NH-648 Junction to the Airlines dhaba. Vehicles coming from KR Puram can move from the Airlines daba and join the NH-648 to reach Rani Cross. Parking arrangements have been made at Tippu Circle to Hospital on the left side, Layout Bychapura Road, again on the left side, Layout Bypass Junction, Devanahalli Kote Cross Junction.
