Bengaluru: Several parents were deceived by Nisha Narasappa, who was sent to judicial custody by a local court on Friday.

Nisha, who runs an event management company called NN Productions and Events, allegedly promised parents that their children would be cast in a reality show and a songs album, using her purported connection with the wife of actor Master Anand, whose daughter Vanshika stars in a kids' show.

Media reports state that Nisha collected money from these parents under the guise of training their children for children's talent shows and other events.

Master Anand's wife, Yashaswini, filed a complaint against Nisha at the Sadashivanagar police station in Bengaluru on Thursday.

Yashaswini revealed that Nisha initially approached them to promote some shows through their platform, but they discovered that Nisha had been taking money from people, promising their children opportunities in reality shows and album songs.

After receiving messages from individuals alleging fraud, Yashaswini, and her team ceased promoting Nisha's events.

Over the past few months, Nisha is accused of having collected over Rs 40 lakh from various people. To date, 17 individuals have come forward claiming to be victims of Nisha's deception, with 11 people, including Yashaswini, filing complaints at the Sadashivanagar police station.
