Caur, Jaffer among three transferred

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Three prominent IAS officers were transferred on Thursday in a major shake-up of the bureaucracy under the State government.

Ekroop Caur was transferred and posted as the Secretary of the Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Bio-Technology, Science and Technology, relieving Ramana Reddy EV of additional charge.

Caur had been the Finance Department Secretary (Budget and Resources) earlier. PC Jaffer was transferred and posted to Caur’s former post Finance Department Secretary (Budget and Resources).

Jaffer had been the Finance Department Secretary (Expenditure) earlier. Reju MT was announced as the new Finance Department Secretary (Expenditure).

He was moved from the post of Secretary of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology, which is now vacant.
