Kadur suspension: Woman constable blames MLA

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: BS Latha, a woman constable at Tarikere Police Station in the Chikkamagaluru district alleged that she was suspended from her duty and transferred as per the instruction of Congress’ Kadur MLA KS Anand.

According to the suspension order, the lady constable reportedly did not follow the orders of the higher officials and displayed misconduct by posting a WhatsApp status to threaten the dignity of the MLA.

Further, the constable was told to have visited the MLA and expressed her disagreement over the transfer from the police station, and requested the MLA to revoke the transfer order.

It is also said that Latha reportedly misbehaved with a PSI at the Kadur police station over her transfer.

However, she took to WhatsApp and posted a status saying that MLA will be responsible for the untoward incidents.
