Brand Bengaluru: 70,000 suggestions submitted

Bengaluru, NT Bureua: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Friday disclosed that more than 70,000 suggestions had poured in from citizens on the Brand Bengaluru initiative.

“I am elated and have no words to thank my people for their overwhelming response to my call to give suggestions for my dream project Brand Bengaluru. People’s participation is really admirable. We have received as many as 70,000 suggestions from the public on seven vital issues pertaining to Brand Bengaluru,” Shivakumar said.

“I am personally looking into them and evaluating the practicality of their implementation. We have asked the nodal agencies, which have been constituted, and stake-holders, who have been appointed, to examine the viability to translate the cardinal slogans - ‘Bengaluru towards Progress, People towards Peace and Tranquility’ - into a reality,” he added.
