16-year-old fatally attacked over relationship with girl

Kodagu, NT Bureau: A tragic incident unfolded in Kodagu on Thursday night when a 16-year-old boy lost his life.

According to media reports, the young boy was killed by a man who discovered that the teenager was in a relationship with the man's daughter.

The attack took place when the teenager visited the girl's residence on that fateful night, and he was assaulted with a blunt object, resulting in severe head injuries.

Despite efforts to transport the teenager to the hospital for treatment, he succumbed to his injuries. This event happened within the jurisdiction of the Virajpet Rural Police Station.

The authorities have taken action by registering a case and apprehending the accused.
