Tragic end for newly married woman in B'luru; family suspects homicide

Bengaluru: A 26-year-old newly married woman was found dead at her house in Kadugodi Police Station limits on Friday, sources from the police said.

The deceased was identified by the police as Krishnaveni. It was revealed that three months ago, she was married to Prithviraj, 30, a native of Kolar district.

He was working at a private firm in Bengaluru. Following the death, the family of the woman filed a complaint with the police accusing Prithviraj of murdering her and hanging her body to make it look like a suicide.

As per the complaint, Prithviraj's family had been harassing Krishnaveni and had sent her four times back to her parents' house in the last two months.

It is being said that the woman was two months pregnant when she died. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered at the Kadugodi Police Station and further investigation is being carried out.
