ADGP Alok Kumar transferred

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In another shake-up, the Karnataka government has transferred IPS officer Alok Kumar, who was serving as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Traffic and Road Safety.

As per the orders, he has been transferred as ADGP, Police Training Center, Bengaluru, with effect from October 1, 2023.

The Congress-led state government had appointed Alok Kumar as the ADGP for Traffic and Road Safety after transferring him from Law and Order just three months ago.

The government also promoted another IPS officer, Ramachandra Rao with Director General of Police (DGP) ranking.
