Cong MLA defends his Bigg Boss appearance

Bengaluru: After being slammed by opposition leaders, Chikkaballapura Congress MLA Pradeep Eshwar defended his decision and said that he was at the BigBoss Kannada house for only three days to motivate the participants.
A promo of Kannada Bigg Boss was released on Monday in which Pradeep Eshwar was seen entering the house. This acted as ammunition to opposition leaders and the MLA faced severe criticism from the people.
A letter was written by an organisation to the Legislative Assembly speaker UT Khader asking him to remove Pradeep as an MLA. Replying to these comments, the congress MLA said, “I was invited to the Bigg Boss for just 3 hours and I played my role and came out. I just wanted to motivate the inmates and youth of the state. I was there to speak about my struggles and the way I came up.”
Pradeep ridiculed Dr K Sudhakar and said that he failed to utilise the opportunity.
“They are in the opposition and it is their right to speak. But, I would like to say that Sudhakar had a good opportunity to target me on Monday, but he failed in it. He would have waited for some time before making comments but he overreacted,” the MLA said.
The Congress MLA explained that his silence during Monday's heated debate was due to his commitment to maintaining silence.
He opined “I was teaching my students on Monday and was right here. I was told by the channel to maintain silence on the issue until the episode goes on air. It was telecast on Monday and I broke my silence. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it.”
