Orchid Exhibition on Oct 28-29

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Orchid Society of Karnataka (TOSKAR) will organise a two-day Orchid Exhibition on October 28 and 29 (Saturday and Sunday) at St. Joseph's University, Langford Road.

The exhibition will be open to the public between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days. The event will be inaugurated by Mr. D. S. Ramesh, IAS, Director, Dept. of Horticulture, Govt of Karnataka.

A souvenir will be released on the occasion by Dr. Ronald Mascarenhas, Pro Vice Chancellor of St. Joseph's University. Dr. M. Jagadeesh, Jt. Director, Dept. of Horticulture, will be the guest of honour.

The exhibition will also put on display orchids grown by commercial growers like Indo-American Hybrids, Florance flora, Orchid Tree, Divine Blossoms, Rynco Orchids and Rajesh Mootha from Chennai.
