Husband arrested after report shows wife was murdered

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A 35-year-old man was arrested for murdering his wife and concocting a false narrative of suicide to conceal his act of murder.

The accused identified as Rajashekhar, has been placed in judicial custody by the Parappana Agrahara Police in Bengaluru. A woman, Anuradha, 31, hailing from Pavagada, was found dead at her residence.

Rajasekhar worked as a construction worker in the city of Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. Anuradha, a homemaker and a mother of two, had been married to Rajasekhar for three years. Initially, their relationship appeared harmonious.

However, underlying issues began to surface as Rajasekhar maintained an extramarital affair, leading to frequent quarrels between the couple.

On October 29, a heated argument over Rajasekhar's infidelity escalated into a tragic incident. Rajashekhar, in a fit of rage, strangled Anuradha with a veil, ending her life.
