Police station without an Inspector!

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A police station in the city has been functioning without a Police Inspector to oversee and supervise the activities at Rajajinagar Police Station.

It has been almost two months since Lokayukta sleuths had arrested Police Inspector Lakshmana Gowda on charges of accepting bribes in connection with filing a B report in a case.

However since then no new officer has been appointed to take charge in the absence of the Police Inspector.

The matter was brought to the notice of the Karnataka Government and the state police department by S Suresh Kumar, the BJP MLA from Rajajinagar who wrote a letter in this regard.
