NIA to file a 1000- page chargesheet in Mangaluru cooker blast incident

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is preparing to file a 1000 page chargesheet against four individuals, including Shariq, in connection to the Cooker bomb blast incident that took place in Mangaluru last year.

The NIA has documented statements from the prime accused Shariq and others including Maaz muneer, Yaseen, and Arafat, in the chargesheet.

The document details the planning of the blast, the location of the explosion, and provides information about those involved in the incident.

As per the chargesheet, Shariq is implicated in the Kadri Temple blasts. The document outlines details about the training location and the team members involved, along with Shariq’s subsequent responsibility for the blasts at Udupi Krishna Mutt and Chikkamagaluru BJP offices following the Kadri Temple explosion.

The charge sheet also notes plans to target certain mutts for detonation and specifies that Shariq underwent continuous training for a duration of six months.
