No casualties in airport flyover serial collision

Bengaluru: In a serial collision, at least six vehicles collided one after the other on the Doddajala Main Road in the outskirts of the city on Monday morning.

The accident led to a huge traffic jam on the road towards Bengaluru Airport road until the Chikkajala traffic police arrived and cleared the damaged vehicles.

While no casualties were reported, a few drivers and passengers suffered minor injuries, the police said.

A video of the accidents went viral on social media platform X in which multiple cars were seen damaged with airbags opened. Traffic Police were seen clearing the road following the accident.

It is said that the accident occurred after a van suddenly changed lanes and applied brakes on a busy road which led to the vehicles crashing into each other on the road.

Later, it was reported that the van driver was facing low visibility due to the thick fog after which he lost control of the wheel. A case has been registered by the traffic police.
