Irfan Sait’s Swastic wins under-16 cricket tournament

Swastic Union Cricket Club beat Vultures Cricket Club in the KSCA Group I
- I, II and III Division Under-16 Interclub Tournament 2021-22 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium,
Bengaluru.

Due to heavy rains, the match was called off. But since Swastic CC had a better run rate, owing to Dheeraj J Gowda’s century, the match was declared in favour of Swastic Union.
Gowda and Rohan R shared a scintillating partnership with a hundred-run stand, with Rohan
scoring 95*.

One may argue it’s not the ideal way to win. But this doesn’t take away anything from the winning side, which notched an impressive run rate.
