KSRTC celebrates Int'l Women's Day

Bengaluru: Celebrating International Women's Day 2024, the central offices of the Corporation were abuzz with appreciation and recognition under the Chairmanship of Ramalinga Reddy, Minister of Transport and Muzrai.

Highlighting the significant contributions of women, Ramalinga Reddy emphasised their equal footing in various fields alongside men.

He commended the efficient work of women technical staff, particularly in vehicle refurbishment, underscoring the Corporation's commitment to providing equal opportunities and facilities.

Special mention was made of Gowri Naik's commendable social work, with the Corporation pledging financial support for her endeavours. V. Anbukkumar, IAS., Managing Director, echoed the sentiment, stressing the importance of education and empowerment for all.

With 3068 female employees holding diverse roles, the Corporation has plemented various welfare programs to support them.
