Devaraje Gowda accuses Shivakumar, Patel of leaking videos

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Fresh controversy broke out surrounding alleged sexual assault videos surrounding JD(S) MP from Hassan as BJP leader Devaraje Gowda accused Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and Hassan Congress candidate Shreyas Patel and associates of leaking the clips.

Gowda made the allegations during a press conference in Bengaluru’s Press Club on Monday evening.

He claimed that Shivakumar and Patel had worked with one “murder accused Puttaraju” in Hassan Congress to distribute the pen drives starting April 22.

Hassan went to polls on April 26. Gowda alleged that Congressmen had first tried to lure him with promises of power and then tried to implicate him in the leaks.

The BJP leader even played some snipped audio files of him talking to Shivakumar, adding that the Deputy CM had made him an “offer” in person.

Prajwal’s former driver Karthik said that he had acquired the videos from Prajwal’s mobile phones.
