Porn addiction to blame?: Minor boy held for impregnating twin sister

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In a shocking incident, a case has been registered against a 14-yearold boy after he allegedly impregnated his twin sister in the city.

The episode took place in Bagalagunte Police Station limits in Bengaluru and came to light only after the parents took the girl to a doctor after she complained of stomach ache. Following an examination, the doctor confirmed she was three months pregnant and alerted the police.

After an investigation, the police detained the boy for questioning during which he reportedly confessed to having intercourse with his sister after watching pornographic content on his mobile phone.

According to sources, the parents work in a garment factory in the city and were unaware of the incident till recently. The police said the youngster has been remanded to the State Home for Boys while the girl is under medical care awaiting the court order for further procedure.

A similar incident had taken place in Navi Mumbai where a 13-year-old boy was booked under IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) after he allegedly impregnated his 15-year-old sister.

The girl in her statement to the police had reportedly said that the incident had taken place three months ago after they had watched porn together.
