NA Haris inspects Hebbal flyover to expedite work

NT Correspondent Bengaluru: In an aim to expedite works of the expansion of the Hebbal flyover, Chairman of the BDA and Shanthinagar MLA N A Haris visited the area of construction and directed officials to fasten works amidst heavy traffic in the junction, on Saturday. The expansion, which was envisioned in 2015, finally got to the ground in April this year, when the Ramp connecting K R Puram was demolished for expansion.

However, the flyover was subject to snail-paced traffic and heavy inundation during rains, in addition to construction work by the BMRCL. As per reports, the expansion will be completed by the end of the year or January 2025. Around 50-60 per cent of the work has been completed, a BDA official told News Trail. “With regards to the land owned by the SWR, everything according to the drawing is approved."
