Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has taken another step towards improving public transportation by introducing new non-AC routes to better serve commuters. This initiative aims to provide efficient, reliable, and affordable travel options across Bengaluru. Starting January 15, 2025, BMTC launched Route 410FG, connecting Banashankari TTMC to Chikkabanawara. This route passes through important junctions such as Nayadahalli Junction, Sumanahalli Junction, Gorguntepalya and Jalahalli Cross.
With six buses operating throughout the day, the route ensures frequent service. Departure timings from both Banashankari TTMC and Chikkabanawara begin as early as 5:00 am and continue until 9:25 pm. From January 16, 2025, additional routes have been introduced to enhance connectivity. Route 168-A links Jai Bhimanagara to KR Market via Tavarekere, Suddaguntepalya, Bengaluru Dairy, and Lalbagh Main Gate. This route offers 18 trips daily, with the first bus departing at 5:20 am.
