Reshuffle: Anand not too happy

Koppal/Bengaluru: Expressing displeasure over the reshuffle of district ministers, Tourism Minister Anand Singh on Wednesday said people of Vijayanagara are deeply hurt that he has been made incharge of districts other than his home district.

After unfurling the national flag on Republic Day here, Mr Singh said that people of Vijayanagara are emotionally attached with him. Vijayanagara was carved out of Ballari and became the 31st district in October 2021. This district is located in the Kalyana Karnataka region.

He said that as a minister, he would work on anything the party wishes him to do but whenever the party chooses to replace ministers, it must also take people’s views into consideration.
