Five of family hacked to death in KRS village in Mandya

In a shocking incident, five of a family including four children were brutally murdered by miscreants in Krishna Raja Sagar village in Mandya district on Saturday. According to information reaching here, the deceased have been identified as Lakshmi (30), wife of Gangaram, and his children Raj (12), Komal (7) and Govind (12), son of Gangaram’s elder brother.

They were residents of Bazaar Line and Gangaram and his elder brother, Ganesh were into the plastic decorative item trade. They were frequently going to different states on business and would return after 15 days or one month. Likewise, the duo had left the village two days ago on a business trip. According to police, Lakshmi was staying with four kids.

The miscreants might have entered the house after midnight and reportedly killed all five with sharp weapons. They have taken away gold ornaments and cash from the house. Inspector General of Police (Southern Range) Praveen Madhukar, Mandya SP N.Yatish and others visited the spot.
