Ex-corporator’s husband missing: Police suspect abduction

It’s been almost a week  since Lohit, husband of the  former JD(s) corporator of  Binnepet ward Aishwarya,  went missing.

Police officials  have found Lohit’s car, which  reportedly got punctured  near Nandagudi village. On March 28 Lohit, 36, left  his house informing his wife  that he has to pay salaries to  the workers.

Police said the  last phone call Lohit made  was to his home to inform  that his car got punctured  near Nandagudi. Since then  his mobile phone has been  switched off.

Investigative team of po- lice found blood stains on his  abandoned car. Police have  expressed suspicion that  Lohit might have been kid- napped for ransom.
