BU syndicate members quit

The members of Bangalore University Syndicate on Monday decided to resign in protest against the state government withdrawing nominations of two members.

Speaking with media persons here, the nominated members said that they want to submit resignations to the Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department on Monday. The state government on April 7 withdrew the nominations of two members - Prem Sohanlal and Govindaraju and replaced them with two new members – C R Mahesh and Anilkumar Esho.
