DKShivkumar remains firm on Eshwarappa arrest

By NT Correspondent

Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committtee (KPCC) DK Shivakumar once again demanded the arrest of former minister KS Eshwarappa in the contractor Santosh Patil suicide case.

Shivkumar wondered why he and his Congress colleagues were arrested and cases slapped on them, but not Eshwarappa.

“When we picketed the Chief Minister’s residence, we were arrested and cases were registered against us. However, when Eshwarappa came to the CM’s house to tender his resignation, he did so in a procession. They shouted slogans and created a ruckus, yet no case has been filed against them,” he said wondering why two yardsticks were adopted.
