APMC agent hacked to death at Mysuru office

Mysuru: An agent at an APMC yard was hacked to death by some miscreants just inside his office in the APMC premises on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi ( 35) aka ‘Capsicum Ravi.’ As he was inside the shop, a gang of miscreants barged into the shop and attacked him. His body was found in a pool of blood. The police have formed a special team to nab the assailants. This incident has shocked APMC traders.

The police said the miscreants had made him a futile bid earlier to kill him and since then the rival gang was after him. His is a rags to riches story-Ravi had joined the APMC as an ordinary worker but later became a crorepati through the capsicum business. He was dispatching capsicum to Kerala, TN, AP and Telangana.
