Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Mutalik accused the State government of allowing a confrontation because if its inability to check the use of mikes in mosques for Azaan and for trying to suppress the Sene’s campaign for the chanting of Hanuman Chalisa in temples. He said a contempt of court case would be filed against all deputy commissioners and Home Minister Araga Jnanendra for violating the orders of the Supreme Court regarding removal of mikes from mosques. “We had given the deadline for removal of mikes from mosques but they did not take action. So, we have started suprabhatha in all temples”. The government Is trying to suppress the Sene’s campaign and was issuing notices to temples for putting the mikes.
