Do justice or will become Naxalites: Dissatisfied PSI aspirants write to PM in blood

Bengaluru: Eight Police Sub-Inspectors aspirants whose selection process was cancelled due to large-scale corruption, have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure justice for them failing which they would become ‘either Naxalites or terrorists.’

Without disclosing their names, the dissatisfied candidates have written in blood about the hard work they did to pass the PSI test to serve society. But their hopes were dashed due to large-scale irregularities committed by a group of people including police officers, politicians and middlemen who took money from non-eligible candidates and secured posts at the cost of honest, dedicated and meritorious candidates.

With this, they have lost trust in the existing corrupt system which can be overhauled only by the prime minister who they expect to cleanse the existing system and ensure justice for hard working candidates. ‘’As a last hope, we have faith in you that you will do something to bring in radical changes in the recruitment policy so that there would be no scope for corruption or irregularities in selection. It is learnt that irregularities had taken place even in the selection of First Division Assistants held in 2021. The need of the hour is to ensure justice for poor and needy candidates,’’ they added in the letter.
