Mangaluru: Distancing himself from the controversy pertaining to imparting of arms training to Bajrang Dal activists, Zaru Ganapathy, chairperson of Sai Shankar Educational Institute in Kodagu where the RSS and Bajrang Dal allegedly organised the arms training, said the staff and the institute had played no role in the camp.
Speaking to News Trail, he said “During vacation, all our staff and students return home. We are well equipped with resources. So when the RSS-Bajrang Dal activists approached us for our premises, we hosted them for free as trainees were merely given spiritual guidance through bhajans and prayers.”
