IPL betting racket busted; 1 held, `9,50,000 seized

Bengaluru: Sleuths from Central Crime Branch (CCB) in the city arrested a person involved in IPL cricket betting and seized Rs 9.5 lakh in cash and several mobile phones from his possession, 
police said.
The betting was set on the recently played Qualifier 2 match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), sources from the police said.
Based on a tip-off about the illegal activity, the police have arrested an accused in Indiranagar.
The police are analysing more information received from the accused to see who all were involved and are trying to track down such perpetrators.
