Bengaluru reports 158 Covid cases

Bengaluru: On Wednesday, 158 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Bengaluru, bringing the total number of active cases in the city to 1,895.
A total of 13,925 tests were conducted between Tuesday and Wednesday, and the positivity rate stood at 1.31%. 
According to the BBMP, 200 patients have recovered from the infection during the same period. 
Meanwhile, a total of 9,918 doses of vaccinations were administered on Wednesday in the city. 1,401 of these were first doses, while 4,646 were second doses. 3,871 precaution doses were given to people across all age groups.
Among children aged 12 to 14, 842 received the first dose and 1,597 got the second dose. In the 15–18-year-old group, 109 got the first and 223 got the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
