Head Constable Basha saves another woman

Bengaluru: Barely a day after he prevented a woman from coming under the wheels of a train, head constable Anwar Basha averted a similar accident at Gadag Railway Station on Friday.

In the second case, the woman reportedly slipped while trying to board the moving Hubli- Karatagi passenger train. Basha told News Trail that this case could have been far more severe than the previous one, but the woman was ‘lucky’ enough to survive.

The woman, a resident of Gadag, was sent home after being administered first aid at the station.
