BJP National General Secretary in charge of Karnataka Affairs Arun Singh held a meeting with senior leaders to ascertain the party preparedness for the 2023 Assembly polls.
Except for one or two leaders, most other leaders have not bothered to react to the allegations made by Opposition Leader in the Assembly Siddaramaiah, KPCC President D.K.Shivakumar or Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council B.K.Hariprasad.
The state government’s approach towards the attacks on the Hindus in coastal districts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada and the statements of Home Minister Araga Jnanendra have made youth wing activists lose confidence in the BJP.
Sources said a demand was made at the meeting to replace Home Minister Araga Jnanendra with another capable leader. Singh reportedly promised that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J.P.Nadda would visit Karnataka frequently days to boost the morale of party workers
