Vijayendra: Not aware of any move to make me BJP prez

State BJP Vice-President B.Y. Vijayendra has said he is happily managing his present post and is ready for it if asked to handle the responsibility of State BJP President. Talking to reporters at Laxmeshwar in Gadag district, Viayendra said his father and former CM, B.S.Yediyurappa did not expect such a senior post to be given to him.

“I am not aware yet of any move to make me state BJP President post. According to me, no discussion has been held in this regard with Delhi leaders”. Vijayendra also said his father has been one of the tallest leaders of Karnataka whose popularity runs across parties.

Today, he may be not be in power but he has the support of every citizen as he has done a lot for the welfare of all castes, communities and religions when he was chief minister.

This would help the BJP reach the 150-seat target in the 2023 Assembly polls. Vijayendra also attacked Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Siddaramaiah claiming that sensing that the Congress will not come to power, he was sowing the seeds of hatred in society
