PSI candidates stage a protest at Freedom Park

 Candidates for the PSI recruitment exam staged a protest at Freedom Park on Tuesday. The candidates expressed their disappointment at not being served justice. “The PSI recruitment scam has taken several political twists and given rise to mud-slinging between leaders. Meanwhile, the honest candidates who have not indulged in malpractice are being punished,” said Rajat, a protesting student. The candidates alleged that they are being used for political gains and that nothing is being done to safeguard the future of sincere aspirants.

 “It is believed in our country that not a single innocent person must be punished even if that means a hundred criminals go unpunished. PSI aspirants who are innocent are now being punished in the state,” said Anjana K, another student who appeared for the exam.

They also pointed out that appointments have taken place in FDA, SDA, KPTCL, FSO, SOCO, Morarji Desai School teachers’ and Assistant Professor exam in spite of irregularities.
