Urban Solace celebrates World Pasta Day with 2+1 offer

Bengaluru: Very few know that October 25 is World Pasta Day. The custom began as recently as 1995 when 40 pasta producers from around the world gathered to hold the first World Pasta Congress.

Urban Solace in Halasuru celebrated the occasion by offering a ‘buy two get one free’ offer on four of their pastas: Alfredo (White Sauce), Arrabiata (Red Sauce), Romano (Mixed Sauce) and Suzana (Pesto Sauce).

“Celebrating World Pasta Day at Urban Solace is part of our celebration of other World Days and World Pasta is being celebrated for the 3rd consecutive year here. In Europe, the day is celebrated with great pomp and festivities in a carnival manner,” said Perry Menzies, proprietor of the restaurant.

“The celebration of our 2+1 offer is yet another way of giving back to the community of our regular pasta lovers; and also offers a low entry point for others to try pasta for the first time,” he added.
