Bengaluru:

Alleging harassment from his wife, a bar cashier allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home near Avalahalli in the city. The deceased was identified as Annaiah, a native of Mandya district. It was revealed that he was married to Uma five years ago and the couple also has a child.

After Annaiah’s death, it has been alleged that the couple was often caught in conflicts and fought with each other over personal issues. Hanumanth Nagar police, who have taken up a case in this regard, inspected the spot and recovered a death note by Annaiah in which he is alleged to have mentioned how his wife always complained about his earnings, despite noticing how hard he worked.

“My wife is never content with whatever I earn. I have lost hope of leading a peaceful life with her and therefore want to end my sufferings. I’m responsible for my own death,” the death note read. The police are further investigating the case.
