Website disclosing saffron party ‘rowdies’ launched

Bengaluru: In the backdrop of history sheeter Manjunath aka Uppi being nominated to the Anekal Town Municipal Council by the BJP a day prior, Karnataka Congress’ launched the website with supposedly leaked candidate list of the BJP on the website www.bjprowdymorcha.com.

The website contains names and pictures of BJP members along with the crimes they are accused of. Names such as ‘Silent’ Sunil, Mallikarjun aka ‘Fighter’ Ravi, Manjunath alias Uppi, Manikantha Rathod, Rajendra, among others are cited.

The Congress accused them of crimes ranging from involvement in gang wars to multiple murders. “After Karnataka BJP became a den of rowdy sheeters and anti-social elements, followed by new rowdies joining the party on a daily basis, the Karnataka Congress releases a list of ‘leaked’ candidates with the photos the criteria to become a BJP candidate through its website www.bjprowdymorcha.com,” an official Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) statement said.

“With the skeletons tumbling out of the cupboard of BJP in the last days, Congress has upped the ante by dedicating an entire website to showcase the improprieties of the BJP in the run-up to the 2023 elections,” it added.
